Final Presentation and Final Report
This project milestone involved a final presentation to our professor, teaching team, guests, and classmates and a final report detailing key findings from each stage of our project. Our final report can be read here, and information about our final presentation is provided below.
Final Presentation
During our final presentation, we began with a "pitch" in which we briefly explained why our app would benefit a user. Our main hook was that individuals who once played an instrument in elementary school, middle school, or high school often stop playing once they reach college because they lose the music community and practice accountability they once had in a school band or orchestra. Next, we highlighted two key findings from our user research, ideation/lo-fi prototyping, and the creation of our med-fi/results from the heuristic evaluation. Finally, we shared a live demo of our hi-fi Figma prototype and our partially functional ReactNative prototype. In order to exhibit our posting functionality of the ReactNative prototype, all of us had the app running on a device. When one of us made a post, it appeared on the feed of all of the other devices with our unique usernames and profile pictures. A preview of the slides from the presentation is provided below, or you can view a PDF of the presentation by clicking the button below.
